Through rigorous application process, USADTF received 2 in 1 grant fund to sponsor the Family Track and Field Games and Youth PANAMDES (see below). The total of the grant is $11,438. 

USADTF is very grateful for USADSF and USOC's continued support of our Youth Program who will become our future Deaflympians.

Within a week or two, another e-DTFNL edition will be distributed. It will cover the accomplishments the current USADTF officers have done the past 4 years, Voting procedure and Candidate application. 

As mentioned before, we will cast our votes via e mail due to conflicting events this summer.  Keep an eye out for the Voting edition. 

Yay!!! Indiana School for the Deaf, Maryland School for the Deaf and Texas School for the Deaf will host the Family Track and Field Games in May and June.

The MF Athletic Co. agreed to donate 4 3kg and 4 4kg shots to be used during the Family Track and Field Games at 4 different schools for the Deaf. 

The company feels the event is an excellent way to start our future Deaflympians at early age. A worthy Investment!

As soon as the Family Track and Field Games conclude, USADTF will begin screening interested athletes and coaches to be selected to the USA Team (12 members and 1 or 2 coaches) participating in 2nd Youth PANAMDES from August 17 through 24 in Barquisimeto, Venezuela. USATF has extended invitation to USADTF to be included in their annual Cross Country Nationals. The 2002 Cross Country Nationals will be taken place at Sierra College in Rocklin, California near Sacramento on December 14. USADTF runners will have their own scoring table. Great opportunity for USADTF Cross Country runners.
